Architectural/Furniture Felt Applications
There are many uses for felt in furniture and architectural applications. Common uses are sound deadening, wall covering, acoustical, and padding applications. Many types of felt can be used for these types of applications, but wool felt is most prevelant. Sutherland Felt Company can custom dye a variety of felt densities anywhere from 1/16" to 1" thick, to match virtually any pantone color (minimum order applies). Eco-Felt
Sutherland's Eco-Felt line is a low cost alternative, 100% tan wool felt that can be made in any density, from 1/8" to 1" thick. This felt is normally produced in soft, medium, or firm density, which match the density and thickness tolerances of the SAE wool felts. Depending on density, Eco-Felt costs 5-15% less than SAE grey felts (F-3, F-7), and 40-45% less than SAE white felts (F-1, F-5, and F-10). Call for a sample today!
Tuf-Felt
This material is a low cost blend of recycled raw materials often used for oil absorbent floor matting, cushioning, underlayment, and general insulation. Tuf-Felt is normally 36" wide and is available 1/8" to 1/2" thick. Custom widths and thicknesses can be manufactured, and PSA (adhesive backing) can be put on the material.
Pool Table Felt

Custom Sewn Felt Products
Sutherland Felt Company can fabricate and sew many types of felt boxes and felt pads. Printing, embroidery, tags, adhesives and hook/loop can be added to these. The options are endless! fax or email your drawing or sketch for a quotation!
Floor Protection Felt
Sutherland Felt Company has developed a super dense polyester product for floor protection applications. This is a widely used product in educational institutions and in the furniture industries. This material can be sold by the sheet or cut into finished parts - 1"-2" diameter circles are very common. It is normally supplied with a high strength rubber based PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive - peel n stick). This is a grey/black material and is made 1/8" abd 1/4" thick.

Special Orders normally require a 3-4 week lead time and a manufacturing minimum. Items designated as in-stock are normally inventoried, but may occasionally be in the process of being produced, thus requiring a 3-4 week lead time.
