Felt Wicking
Felt wicking is specially manufactured round felt that is supplied in diameters from 1/8" to 1". This product is made in two densities & colors from pressed wool felt - either white F-1 felt, or grey F-3 felt. This product is commonly used for lubrication wicks that deliver lubricants from a reservoir to a bearing surface. These are also used for packing, wiping, vibration dampening, and sealing applications.

Felt Stripping
Felt stripping is any type of manufactured roll felt that is slit down to customers' specification. Sutherland has extensive roll slitting capabilities; we can slit felt to any width down to 1/8". Sutherland Felt has more than 1,000,000 ft of pre-cut felt stripping, in various grades, widths, and thickness. We can also fabricate slit felt to any dimension from our wide array of roll goods. Adhesive Backed Felt
Virtually any type of felt can have an adhesive backing applied. Adhesive backed felt can be supplied in roll form, sheet form, felt stripping, or as die cut parts. Sutherland Felt has in-house lamination capabilities, and can apply adhesive to virtually any grade or thickness of felt. We stock pressure sensitive adhesive from numerous leading adhesive suppliers. Because a great deal of our adhesive backed products are used by the automotive industry, Sutherland Felt Company stocks adhesives that meet the following automotive specifications:
