Designer Board Felt
Designer Board Felt is made from 60% Recycled PET, which is a combination of regular and low melt polyester fibers, giving it a stiff, board like feel. 35 vibrant colors allow your creative designs to come to life.
Designer Board cuts easily with a utility knife, or put our high speed CNC cutting system to work to cut nearly any shape you can imagine. Durable and resilient, Designer Board is perfect for a variety of uses including architectural, visual arts, crafts and other decorative applications.
Sheets are 48″ X 96″ X 9.5mm thick, and weight 1500GSM (44.2 opsy). Sold by the sheet or cut in to geometric patterns using one of our Gerber Paragon CNC cutters. Design Board Sheets have an ASTM E84 class A fire rating.

Designer Wool Pure Felt
The Pure Felt line was uniquely developed by Sutherland Felt Company to offer 100% wool felt custom dyed in a beautiful array of colors. Pure Felt applications include architecture, design, bags, furniture, fashion, and vertical surface applications. The possibilities are limitless! Designer Felt is a high quality, eco-friendly, 100% wool that comes in highly saturated colors, and is perfect for demanding design applications. The Designer Wool is custom dyed medium density natural wool from Australia. We also sell undyed natural wool felt, and grey felt from S. America.

Custom Dyed Felt
Sutherland Felt can custom dye our natural (cream) wool felt to match any sample, pantone, or color chip. Almost any thickness can be dyed. Most commonly, we custom dye our medium density wool (12 Lbs per Sq Yd @ 1″ thick). Minimum order for a custom dyed felt depends on thickness/total weight. Minimum order for 2mm thick is 60 Ln Yds (60″ or 72″ wide). 3mm minimum is 40 yards, 5mm and above min order is 30 yards. 100% Natural Grey Wool Felt
Our 100% grey wool felt has been used in major HQ installations as ceiling and wall covers. Like our cream/natural Australian wool felt, it is used in many LEED certified projects. Our grey wool felt passes ASTM E84 with a Class A rating. The majority of our grey wool is harvested from the S. American country of Uruguay. Eco-Lux Poly Felt
Eco-Lux was developed by Sutherland Felt Company to offer a low cost Designer Polyester alternative to 100% wool. Eco-Lux felt is made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester fiber. A 3.5mm thickness and 500GSM weight gives the material a similar density and feel to our Designer Wool, at a fraction of the price. Eco-Lux is 100% recycled fiber, and comes 60” wide in a dazzling array of 33 colors.
100% Natural Wool Felt (Undyed)
Our 100% natural/cream wool felt is primarily from Australia. This material has been used in many architectural applications, and has excellent sound absorption qualities. Because our wool felt is 100% natural, it is used in many LEED certified projects. It also passes ASTM E84 with a Class A rating.
